Speaker 1: Today on our 2017 Dodge Grand Caravan, we're going to be doing a test fit on the Yakima Off Grid Rooftop Cargo Basket. Part number is Y07138. Now this basket mounts to the roof rack of your vehicle. It's gonna allow you to haul any cargo that doesn't fit inside your vehicle up on top of your roof. As an open basket design, meaning that you'd want to be careful of what you put up there, because they're going to be exposed to the elements, so anything that's sensitive to heat, cold, or water, you probably want to try to keep that inside your vehicle. Rhino Rack Roof Basket Review - 2018 Dodge Grand Caravan- Video
Speaker 1: Today on our 2018 Dodge Grand Caravan, we're going to be test fitting the Rhino Rack Roof Mounted Steel Cargo Basket, part number RMCB. The Rhino Rack Rooftop Cargo Basket is great for solving a lot of problems with your Dodge Grand Caravan such as not enough space or you need to make more space by putting your luggage, your sporting goods, or your camping gear up on your roof.The overall dimensions for for this roof basket are going to be 47 3/16 inches long by 35 3/8 inches wide by 5 1/2 inches deep. Some other cargo baskets kind of have a curve shape to it to help with aerodynamics. This one has a constant wall all the way around it to help tie down your gear. This also has a carrying capacity of 165 pounds, but you should always check your vehicle's manual to make sure your roof can withstand those weights and go by its recommendation.This cargo basket, it does come with the fairing pre-installed, and that's going to help cut down some of that noise while you drive. There are plenty of spaces and bars on the cargo basket itself to utilize these tie down points for your gear. more

Speaker 1: Today in our 2018 Dodge Grand Caravan, we're going to bet test fitting the Thule Canyon XT roof cargo basket, part number TH859ST. Thule Canyon XT is great for those situations where inside your Grand Caravan you either need more space, don't have enough space, where you can carry your luggage, your gear, your sporting goods, your camping equipment, anything on the roof of your vehicle and frees up a little space inside your vehicle.Now like most things that you can put on your roof, they're gonna get noisy. Now this does help to cut down the noise with the included frame that comes pre installed on our actual roof basket. Right now we have attached aero bars but this will also work with square, round, elliptical and most factory roof racks as well. You can see at the end here there's a plastic lock. That can be replaced with a Thule lock core which is sold separately, so you can secure this to your roof rack system but you can also purchase several of these and make a key to like with your roof rack system as well.It provides several tie down points on the side here as well as below to help keep your gear secure and not moving. more

Curt Roof Basket Review - 2018 Dodge Grand Caravan- Video
Speaker 1: Today on our 2018 Dodge Grand Caravan we're going to be test fitting the Curt Roof Mounted Cargo Basket, part number C18115. The Curt Cargo Basket is great for solving those problems such as not enough space inside our Grand Caravan, or we need to make more space in our Grand Caravan by loading up our luggage, sporting goods, or camping gear up on the roof.There's plenty of space for storage with the cargo basket being 41 1/2 inches long by 37 inches wide and by 4 inches tall. That four inches is consistent all the way around the cargo basket unlike some others which can have that kind of curve to it so you lose a little bit towards the rear. This can carry up to 150 pounds of cargo, although you always want to double check with your vehicle's manual to make sure your roof can withstand those weights and go by its recommendation. Also, traveling with these cargo baskets or pretty much anything on your roof, you're going to encounter a lot of noise while you drive. But the Curt basket here does come included with this fairing up at the front which is going to help quiet down some of that while you drive.Looking how we secured this to our roof basket, there are plenty of spots both along the side and beneath to tie down your gear. more

Stallion Roof Basket Review - 2017 Dodge Grand Caravan- Video
Speaker 1: Today on our 2017 Dodge Grand Caravan, we're gonna be test fitting the Stallion Rooftop Cargo Basket, part number 288-09200. This basket measures 44 inches long by 39 inches wide by 7 inches deep. It has a carrying capacity of 150 pounds, but you always want to double check with your vehicle's manual, to make sure that it can withstand those weights on the top, as well as your roof rack itself. We have most of it installed already, but we'll show the last U-bolt going into place. It's gonna be back here at the passenger side rear. Set anything off to the side here, first. more

Today on our 2013 Dodge Grand Caravan we're doing a test fit of the Yakima LoadWarrior roof-mounted cargo basket with extension kit. That part number is Y07070-74. Now this basket is going to have a 196 pound weight capacity, though you do want to check your vehicle's owner's manual to make sure it can withstand that much weight. The basket is also going to be 62" long by 39" wide by 6-1/2" tall. We already have three of our four mounts secured down. We're going to show you how we do our back passenger side one here. This already comes preassembled. more

Now this is 49" long by 40" wide by 6" deep, and has a 150 pound weight capacity. With that weight capacity, you do want to check your vehicle's owner's manual to make sure it can withstand that much weight. Now we already have three of our four brackets completely secured down. Now we already have three of our four mounts and brackets completely secured down. I'm going to show you how to do our back passenger side here. We've already got our metal bracket on top, our plastic bracket underneath. We're going to take our last bracket and place it underneath our crossbar, drop our two bolts down there. more

Today on our 2017 Dodge Grand Caravan, we're gonna be testing the Rhino Rack roof-mounted cargo basket, part number RMCB. This measures 47 inches long by 35 inches wide by five and a half inches tall, and has a carrying capacity of 165 pounds, although you always want to double check with your vehicle's manual to make sure that your roof can withstand that weight. It does have an aerodynamic shape to it, plus it has a fairing installed on the front, which is gonna cut down on the wind noise and drag while you're driving, and this will work with, as you see here, factory cross bars, as well as square, round, elliptical, and aero. It's very easy to install, and we'll show you how the last bracket goes on. We're gonna come here to the back corner of the driver's side, where we already have our plastic piece installed between the cargo basket itself and the crossbars. We also have our metal piece installed in the top here, and it just pushes into place like so. We'll put our bolts through, and these are Allen-head bolts, like so, and then we'll take our bottom bracket, line it up, and start tightening our bolts down. Some things that this can actually be used for are anything from sporting goods equipment to camping equipment, anything wet you want to keep out of your vehicle, or just anything you want to keep out of your vehicle to make more space for you and your family as you travel. Try not to lose the tightening tool as you're tightening it. more

This is going to be 49 inches long, by 40 inches wide, by 6 inches deep at its highest point. It also has a fairing at the front, which is going to cut down some of that wind noise and drag you'll experience while driving. To install it, it's very easy. This cargo baskets going to be steel construction offering a 150 pound weight capacity. Part number TH859. It's also going to be 49 inches long, 40 inches wide and have depth of 6 inches. One thing I do want to point out before you get it up on your vehicle that you need to know your bar-cross bar spread. Measuring from the center to the back one to the center of the front one. Getting that dimension and setting your feet using the align tool to meet up with that cross bar spread. more

Yakima LoadWarrior Roof Cargo Basket Review - 2013 Dodge Grand Caravan- Video
Today on our 2013 Dodge Grand Caravan well be test-fitting the Yakima Load Warrior rooftop cargo basket, part #Y07070.Now our vehicle is already equipped with a factory roof rack system. To begin our test fit well simply place the cargo basket on to the vehicles cross bars. Well then loosen up the wing nuts to bring the brackets around the underside of the cross bar. Insert the T-bolt into the bracket. Tighten the black knob to secure the carrier to the vehicle. Youll need to repeat these steps for all three of the other brackets.Once all the brackets are secured and tightened down youre ready to load up some cargo.That completes todays test fit for the Yakima Load Warrior roof rack cargo basket part #Y07070 on our 2013 Dodge Grand Caravan.. more

Today on our 2013 Dodge Grand Caravan, we'll be test fitting the Thule MOAB Rooftop Cargo Carrier, part number TH690. Now to begin our test fit, we'll place the basket on top of our crossbars. We'll then use the included hardware to go underneath the crossbars, and using the gray wing nuts, we'll tighten the hardware down, securing our basket to the crossbars. After doing that in all four locations, we can go ahead and put our hardware covers on, which will complete the test fit of the Thule MOAB Rooftop Cargo Carrier, part number TH690, on our 2013 Dodge Grand Caravan. more

Thule MOAB Roof Top Cargo Basket Review - 2012 Dodge Grand Caravan- Video
Today, on our 2012 Dodge Grand Caravan, we will be test fitting the Thule Moab rooftop cargo carrier, part number TH690. Now, our vehicle is equipped with the Thule Aeroblade roof rack system and our crossbar spread is set to 27-1/2 inches so we are ready to go ahead and fit it to the vehicle. We will simply place the cargo carrier on top of our cross bars, we will then center it with the vehicle. With it centered, we will use the included hardware to run underneath the crossbars and clamp it down. And that will secure our cargo carrier to the vehicle. We can then install the hardware covers, which will mean that our carrier is ready to load up. more
